All 5 pieces of the
A Line Jacket have been knit ... the sleeves are blocking now. I have to sew it all together, then pick up and knit for the collar. Until then, I need another project to work on. I have the above odds-n-ends from the Tour de Fleece ... the plan is to make a loosely knit throw for the sofa. I say that now, but I intensely dislike working with large needles, so there is a good chance it won't be so loose! Mostly I just want to use up the little sample skeins I made from the sample fleece bits I got when I first started spinning, and needed practice.
While browsing my old projects, I came across the
Meghan's Braids hat that I made a while back for a child. It's one of those hats with the long side braids. I think I'm going to make one for me -- I have a lot of leftover Cascade. It's from One Skein Wonders, and I remember that it's a fast knit. I have knit a half dozen hats and don't like any of them, so I might even pull one of those apart. I'm in a pulling-apart-mood, so maybe I should just stay away from my finished project stash!
