I went without a list of any kind. Just a vague idea to buy a Zauberball (I only saw one and didn't like the color). So I didn't buy any yarn. Which is fine, because I have enough to last a lifetime!
Here are some pictures ... no captions.
The smooching alpaca is so cute!
Here are my non-yarn purchases ...
A merino batt (what? It's not yarn!)
I couldn't resist this batt. I have enough fiber to last through a few Tours de Fleece, so I tried very hard to pass up the fiber. But this one snagged me.
I have wanted one of these for years, but my intensely frugal nature prevented me from buying one.
But this year, I was determined to override the little voice that said I didn't really need it.
Plus, I love red, and I love polka-dots.
A carder-cleaner, which was a silly purchase considering I have a full-sized drum carder, not carders ... and a spare drive belt for my Kromski.
As usual, it was a beautiful day for the festival. Very crowded, as it always is at 9:00 on the first day, but I got an excellent parking spot. Sheer luck. Lovely sunny day, too, not too hot. I'd love to go back tomorrow, but I'm afraid I would weaken and buy something I sensibly resisted today!
Ta!
