I'm about a quarter of the way there ... I love the look of patchwork blankies, so it's worth the tedium!
I'm trying to be inventive when a skein runs short, and combine bits and pieces in one square.
The pile slowly grows...
Don't forget to stop by Tamis Amis for Work in Progress Wednesday!
You are a better woman than me. Don't mind the squares, it's the putting them all together that gets me!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I have squares I've been putting together since...2006!!! Madness. It's not even like I have lots, only about 50 and I'm about halfway done...it's just hard to persuade myself to do it. Well done :)
ReplyDeleteA great way to use the stash and I do so admire your enthusiasm. Looking forward to watching this project evolve.
ReplyDeleteI started a blanket a few years ago that needs to be finished and given away. My Mitchie asked me to make one to give to the Dialysis Center for a patient and I really need to get it finished and donated.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a lovely blanket. I'm not sure I could stick out a project like that!
