Inching Along

It's a good thing I'm not in too much of a hurry!

Because my Bohus Swing Coat will not be done anytime soon! This is the back. The lighter purple is the hem. It's 12" and needs to be 17" before I take the next step, which I assume is sleeve-related.

Here's a closeup so you can see how wonky my stitches are:

Kinda warbly, aren't they?

Cascade tweed ... I think it's loverly.

And the Mandola cowl-hat is creeping along.

I've got 25 rows out of 68. My fingers are tired from typing a lot, so sometimes I just don't want to fuss with thin yarn and 3.25mm needles.

That's it for me. What WIPs are you all WIPping up for the coming winter? (Unless you're in New Zealand, of course, and starting Spring!)

Don't forget to check in with TamisAmis on Wednesday, for WIP Wednesday!

It's not really meant for two, but Molly Cat doesn't read labels.

  1. It is important to inch along...because it is the process and journey, after all. Looks great.

    Who is Molly's furry friend?

    1. That is Georgie Girl, my little doggie. Cats love her, for some reason.

  2. I love your WIP's, and the colours in your cowl make my day! I've got tired hands this morning and I worked like a mad woman on a sock last night. I'll be feeling it this a.m.!

  3. You are making great progress.
    Progress is progress, right?

I like that tweed yarn too.

  4. Both are lovely. Any progress is good progress right? Your fur babies are sweet!

  5. It's not that wobbly. You have to be kind with you. And after a slight wash the stitches are more equal. The tweed is lovely.

  6. Its not wobbly. I think your WIPs are lovely. I am making a hat, a stole and contemplating a sweater that will have a matching beret and finger less mittens.

  7. Slow and steady wins the race! Keep up the great work on the WIPS!

  8. Your stitches look perfectly fine! I never thought I do anything special knitting wise when the weather gets cold, but I'm making a big shawl, so maybe subconsciously I do.

I would love to hear from you!
