I give. I surrender. Uncle!
You win, Gail a.k.a. Nightsongs. Well played! I am thoroughly defeated.
I'm going to frog this entire thing and start over, for the FOURTH time ... sometime soon. Maybe this summer. I think we both need some time apart. We've both said things we've regretted.
I turned to something far simpler ....
Hexipuffs.
And a Montavilla Market Tote.
This is just the base.
I leave you with Pudgy Petunia, reminding you to visit Tamis Amis for Work-in-Progress Wednesday!
Sorry to hear about the shawl... :-(
ReplyDeleteIt's been two years since I made mine, but I am sure gnashing of teeth was involved. I made it for another and always thought I would make one for me, but no way. Not going through that a second time. Peace be with you.
ReplyDeleteOh, I really hope you and the shawl will become friends someday!!
ReplyDeleteThe shawl may have won the battle, but I'm positive, you'll win the war. Good idea to put some time and space between you and it before you defeat it. :-D
ReplyDeleteaww i'm sorry about your shawl, but I'm sure you'll get there in the end. The hexipuffs are super cute as is the little kitty. Have a knitty wednesday xx
ReplyDeleteAw! You fought the shawl and the shawl won :-(
ReplyDeleteOh my...it was a valiant battle. You did we'll, but sometimes you just have to accept that it is not to be.
ReplyDeleteAm liking your new market bag.
I admire your persistence with Nightsong, I would never be able to talk myself into starting a project the FOURTH time (not even the second time!). Sincerely hope your next battle will end with a fully finished shawl!
