Two Finished Objects!

The Mock Cable Wristers

These are from the "Sixty Quick Knits for Cascade Yarn" book, and the pattern calls for them to be short; just two mock-cable repeats instead of the four I did.

Gratuitous Cable Shot.

The other FO is a decidedly less pretty set of wristers ...

They're for a child. I might not gift them. I don't think they are very nice now that they're done.

And my new perpetual WIP ....

Five. I have five. The funny thing is, I don't remember buying the dark blue yarn, or the pink-brown-maroon on the far right. I don't remember ever making a project out of those yarns.

I don't know what they're planning, but I'm nervous.

Don't forget to stop by Tamis Amis on Friday, for F-O Friday!

  1. Isn't it strange how yarn shows up that certainly didn't come from something else.

The kitties do appear to be acting nonchalant. Hmmm... I suspect they may have set a trap for you. ;-)

I do like your wreath suggestion. thanks.

  2. I really like the "not pretty" wristers ;)

  3. Love the Mock cable mitts!
    Have a great weekend :)

  4. Love both the wristwarmers.that kitty pic is so funny

  5. I think that the kitties are waiting for you to leave the Hexi's unattended. They do look like they might be just the right size for playing with.

  6. Hahaha! Your cats would make me nervous too. :-) Have a nice weekend. Regula

  7. Are they are the life insurance policy? LOL. Love the cabled mitts. The others are cute, I doubt a child will care if they are not perfect!

  8. SQUEE! I love the kitty picture! They look like they know how pretty they are; like they're posing! I love that you added length to the mitts. They look really nice this way, and I bet they will wear well!

  9. LOVE the cable shot-- I am a total sucker for cables! And I don't think the pink & yellow mitts are that bad-- I know several young girls who would LOVE them, so don't despair :)

  10. Beautiful cables, and the stripy mitts look like just the sort of thing kids love.

I agree there does seem to be some kitty world domination planning going on

I would love to hear from you!
