Of course, it still needs blocking. This was a fairly easy and fast knit, until the last row where there are 540 stitches and I promise I won't gripe about that again!
It took a whole Zauberball and about 1/3 of a knit-picks skein. The ruffle is from the knit-picks, but you can't really tell unless I point it out. So I won't.
I am now working on hexipuffs, trying to get closure on the Bohus (&$*#^&), a scarf I frogged and am redoing ... oh, yeah, and mittens for NaKniMitMo! I don't have enough done on the mittens yet to show you.
Oh, and a shout-out to one of Molly's favorite blogs, the McGreen Experience.
Don't forget to stop by Tamis Amis for Finished Object Friday!
Molly has good taste. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Citron looks perfect.
The Citron looks lovely! I'm eager to see it all blocked out and put to use! :-D
ReplyDeleteHow pretty it looks! :-)
ReplyDeleteNot even one week into 2013 and you have a FO! YEA! and pretty.
ReplyDeleteYippee for FOs that start in 2012 and finish really quick in 2013! I had one of those. LOL. I can't even tell there are two different skeins in that knit. So, don't tell. There's a NaKniMitMo? Hmm, maybe I need to cast on for one of the fingerless mitts I have queued?
ReplyDeleteHey, it's me!! Molly and I are now best buds, she honors me. Your citron turned out beautifully, and I know what you mean about all those stitches at the end.....it almost did me in!
ReplyDeleteYour citron looks great, the two yarns go really well together, I would not have guessed!
ReplyDeleteI really like the colors in your Cotton. Such a great pattern. I hear you on the 540 sts. Good for you conquering them.
